    Dr. Kayla Allen

Owner | Pregnancy and Pediatric Chiropractic Specialist | Diversified, Logan Basic, DNS, SOT, Webster Technique Certified

Dr. Kayla’s journey as a chiropractor has deep roots. A second-generation practitioner, she watched her mother and father practice since childhood. Benefiting and learning from the adjustments they helped give her own growing body, she saw her own future path in the practice. “I understood from a young age how the body works and functions, recognizing that chiropractic provided a means of helping people in my community in a meaningful way.”

Originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Dr. Kayla Allen graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science before attending Logan University College of Chiropractic. She is a current member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) where she received her training to specialize in pediatric and pregnancy care. Dr. Kayla also holds her Webster Certification through the ICPA. Dr. Kayla is certified in DNS (dynamic neuromuscular stabilization) for the pediatric community, allowing her to provide specialized care for kids with developmental motor delays or missed milestones to help their bodies grow and thrive. She has pursued additional training in SOT (sacral occipital technique). Dr. Kayla also has training in care for oral tethered issues (tongue and lip ties). Dr. Kayla also enjoys incorporating functional medicine and nutrition into her work in order to provide a holistic and integrative approach with the greatest possible benefits.

In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors with her husband Forrest, her son Oliver and her black lab Sabrina. She enjoys hiking, skiing, yoga, and visiting the many wonderful restaurants and markets Colorado has to offer!

Owner | ACBSP Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician | McKenzie Method Certified | DNS Practitioner and Exercise Trainer | Strength and Conditioning Specialist | Certified Exercise Physiologist | Dry Needling Certified

Dr. Forrest Allen is originally from Bismarck, ND and was exposed to chiropractic at a young age as his family’s close friends were chiropractors. He was always fascinated at how the human body moves and works, and also with alternative medicine. During his high school years, he ran cross country and track and was part of the drumline. He graduated from Century High School in 2012 and continued on to Montana State University to study Health and Human Performance.

Going through his undergraduate studies, his passion for the body and how it moves and functions grew even more. Additionally, in his last semester at MSU, he became an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist (EP-C) and an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He graduated in the fall of 2015 with a B.S. in Health and Human Performance.

Dr. Allen then moved on to chiropractic school at Logan University in Chesterfield, MO. During his time at Logan, he was heavily involved in Motion Palpation Institute and served as the Logan club president for two trimesters. Throughout his clinical rotations, Dr. Allen had the opportunity to serve a unique chronic-pain population at Affinia Healthcare in St. Louis, which provided invaluable experience on how to understand, communicate with and educate patients. He also finished his clinical experience with an 8-month internship at Winchester Spine and Sport in Troy, MO before graduating in April 2019. Additionally, throughout chiropractic school, he took over 580 hours of extra-curricular seminar training in things like adjusting (MPI), Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS rehab), reflex locomotion, dry needling, McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, Active Release Technique (ART), Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), TMJ dysfunction, kinesiology taping and instrument-assisted soft tissue methods (IASTM). He is certified in dry needling, ART, SFMA, FTMI, FAKTR, RockTape and Dynamic Tape.

Dr. Allen is a certified sports chiropractor and has a passion for treating athletes and active human beings but also enjoys applying these principles to anyone and everyone. He has a passion for continually learning and changing with the newest knowledge and techniques. His personal hobbies include running, snowboarding, hiking and exploring the great outdoors with his wife, son and black lab.
